ColGen™ Matrix

ColGen™ is a sterile collagen sheet in a preserving medium containing isopropyl alcohol. It forms a conformable protective layer at the wound surface, maintaining a physiologically moist microenvironment conducive to the formation of granulation tissue, blood vessels, and re-epithelialization.

Indications

Traumatic Wounds (Abrasions, Skin Tears, etc.)

2nd degree Burns

Skin Donor Sites, Surgical Wounds

Ulcers - Skin (Chronic), Pressure (Shallow), Venous/Vascular & Diabetic

How to Apply

  • Clean & disinfect the wound area thoroughly
  • Apply the ColGen™ Matrix sheet firmly to the raw area, being careful not to overstretch the sheet. If necessary, sprinkle saline solution on the surface for better adhesion.
  • Ensure to remove air bubbles.

Contraindications

  • Avoid using sheets on patients who are hypersensitive to Collagen.

Precautions & Warning

Not to be used in the eyes.

  • Grossly infected wounds may reject the sheet.
  • Intended for single and external use only.
