SLVRGEN® is a novel synergistic formulation for burns and wound treatment.
An innovative fusion of biotechnological and pharmaceutical components, SLVRGEN® is a topical gel consisting of recombinant human Epidermal Growth Factor (rhEGF) with Silver Sulfadiazine (SSD) and Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) for faster healing of first- and second-degree burns.
Co-supplementation of rhEGF with SSD and CHG not only ensures faster wound healing but also protects the cells from silver toxicity.
It is stable at room temperature (25°C).
Indications for SLVRGEN®
SLVRGEN® is an advanced topical gel specifically formulated for the treatment of burns and wounds. Its unique combination of recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor (rhEGF), Silver Sulfadiazine (SSD), and Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) makes it an ideal choice for both first-degree and second-degree burns, as well as various other skin injuries. SLVRGEN® is indicated for:
First-degree burns
- Primarily indicated for treatment of 1st & 2nd Degree Burns.
- Can also be used for abrasions, incisions, minor cuts and wounds
Contraindications
- Patients hypersensitive to silver sulphonamide or to other components of the preparation such as cetyl alcohol or propylene glycol.
- Individuals receiving immunosuppressive or immune-stimulant therapy or in immune compromised individuals.
- Pregnant women, premature infants and infants during the first few months of life.
- Not to be used if hepatic and renal functions become impaired or if the condition of porphyria is suspected
Precautions & Warning
Not to be used with other growth factor containing drugs

How to Apply
- A single tube to be used for individual patient.
- Avoid direct contact with the wound/burn site.
- Ensure the wound/burn area is kept clean before gel is applied.
- Wash the wound/burn area daily with mild soap or a saline solution and keeping the wound/burn area covered with clean, dry dressings.
